16-2-2022: Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday stressed that Moscow did not want war over Ukraine, and called for resolving discussions over Kyiv's bid to join NATO "right now". After meeting German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at the Kremlin, Putin said Russia had put forward proposals during weeks of diplomatic attempts to resolve tensions which had not received "substantial constructive response".
